“Botanica” is a personal project, a collection of spirits and critters inspired by a drawing lesson spend in the local botanical gardens. Life-drawing the flora and spinning stories from it was the goal. It started as a class on creativity and making up things on the fly and I developed the drawings I made there further cause I enjoyed the concept, it was a beautiful way of combining being in nature and being inspired by it to work out something that could be the base for a cast of strange peculiar characters.
