In 2021 I started participating in Inktober, an online art challenge run by artist Jake Parker every Oktober. For every day another prompt word is given and the participating artists try to come up with creative ways to work them into their pieces, all done in ink. The main goal is to work on composition and value structure. My experience with working in ink was limited before and this challenge really expanded my understanding of that medium and pushed me to make pieces more readable.
I experimented with lots of different themes and ideas with this limited tool box and with every one of them i tried to tell a small story, something self-contained and simple. This is a collection of some of the pieces i liked.
