Ona is the name of an otherworldly place that i made up for a personal project of mine, a strange planet, a wasteland.
And a girl named Läila wandering through the colorful desert, uninhabited by other humans.
She meets creatures and critters instead and tries to piece together the mystery of the place she seemingly stumbled into.
More small animations and world building will be added along the way.
The first two creatures I built and animated were the cloaked little figures that walk with their heads bent downwards and the praying one-eyed golems that wander towards the sun. Working on this project taught me a lot about fabrication, as most of the things I made were still new to me. On this project i did fabrication, animation, editing and sound design by myself to learn about all the different aspects.
